When you use BlueprintForge products and services, we may collect the following information:

  • Email address — Provided during account registration for license management, support, and product updates
  • License keys — Generated upon purchase to validate your access to BlueprintForge products
  • Usage analytics — Aggregated, anonymized data such as which tools are used most frequently, plugin version, engine version, and session duration. This helps us prioritize features and fix bugs
  • Purchase history — Records of your transactions for order management and customer support
  • Support communications — Messages and information you provide when contacting our support team

2. What We Don't Collect

BlueprintForge is designed with a privacy-first architecture. We never collect:

  • AI API keys — Your API keys for Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or any other provider are stored locally on your machine and never transmitted to our servers
  • AI conversations or prompts — All communication between the plugin and your AI provider happens directly from your machine. We never intercept, log, or read your prompts or responses
  • Project content — Your Blueprints, source code, level designs, and project files are never accessed, scanned, or uploaded
  • Game assets — Your models, textures, audio, animations, and other creative assets remain entirely on your machine
  • File system data — We do not scan, index, or catalogue your file system beyond what is required for plugin functionality within the engine editor

3. How We Use Data

The information we collect is used for the following purposes:

  • License validation — Verifying your license status when the plugin connects to our server
  • Product improvements — Understanding which features are most used to guide development priorities
  • Customer support — Helping you resolve issues and answering your questions
  • Product updates — Notifying you about new releases, features, and important changes (with your consent)
  • Security — Detecting and preventing unauthorized access or abuse of our services

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

BlueprintForge integrates with or relies on the following third-party services:

  • Payment processors — We use Stripe and marketplace-native payment systems (Fab Store, Unity Asset Store) to process transactions. Your payment information is handled directly by these processors and is never stored on our servers
  • AI providers — When you use AI features, your requests go directly from the plugin to your chosen provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, etc.). Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data
  • Analytics — We use privacy-focused analytics to understand product usage. Data is aggregated and anonymized
  • Email services — Transactional emails (purchase confirmations, license keys, password resets) are sent through a third-party email provider

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party AI provider you choose to use with BlueprintForge.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for the following periods:

  • Account information — Retained for as long as your account is active, plus 30 days after deletion request
  • Purchase records — Retained for the duration required by applicable tax and accounting regulations
  • Usage analytics — Aggregated data is retained indefinitely; raw event data is purged after 12 months
  • Support communications — Retained for 24 months after the last interaction

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
